Having material and spiritual desires is a natural part of life. Desire can in fact be the driver for the greater awareness and consciousness we aspire for.
Desire is key to effortless manifestation. But very often, we may not be aware of the difference between desire and greed. Desire is an authentic call of the soul. Greed on the other hand is a distortion of desire springing from the ego. Desire is an expression of your true essence, but greed emerges from the impostor persona that pretends to be you.
When you are clouded by greed, you will never be able to manifest your desires.
Greed is something you need to release as much as limiting beliefs.

Patanjali, considered the father of Yoga, talks about how ignorance and excessive identification with our ego can lead us to lose touch with our true self and create the conditions for greed and lust.
